The Cook of the Week
Every week we have a student who is the Friend of the Week.
He or she is also the Cook of the Week.
The Cook of the week chooses a recip0e, brings it to school and on Thursday, he/she brings the ingredients to school and teaches the cooking lesson to the rest of the class.
It is a great opportunity for language development, reading, following instructions and building self esteem.
Alter the lesson, the students write the recipe in their Cook Books and make a drawing.
