We welcome parents as partners in their children’s education at Colegio Roosevelt. Their support and participation make a positive difference in our educational and extra-curricular programs. We suggest that parents talk with their child’s teacher if they wish to participate as homeroom parents, who help coordinate classroom parties and other special events, or as parent volunteers for field trips and classroom projects. We’re glad you’re part of the Roosevelt family!
The following suggestions for parents can help students improve their language skills:
1. Read with your child daily.
2. Speak in English whenever possible.
3. Show interest in your child’s school work and activities.
4. Listen to your child when he/she speaks with you.
