Where we live, work, and play : Neighborhoods. What makes a neighborhood unique? Who lived there before? Where do you shop? Are there places to play? Children have the opportunity to explore different neighborhoods and compare them to their own. It's exciting to imagine and to research what their neighborhood was like 100 years ago. Getting to know more about where they live can give them a sense of belonging.
