  • Milk: From Farm to Table (12:00) This step-by-step program shows how milk is collected at a huge dairy farm and then pasteurized, homogenized and bottled at the rate of thousands of gallons an hour. The birth of a calf begins the story. Once a cow has given birth, she will continue to produce milk. At milking time, cows are herded into a "milking parlor," where special machines now do a job that was once done by hand. The raw milk is stored in a refrigerated tank, then taken to a processing plant, where many milk products are made and packaged for people to enjoy.
  • Come to a farm
