My Day at Work
Hello I’m Melanie and today I went to my dad’s office to work there because it was a class project. My dad’s office was beautiful, very big, in his office he has 5 TVs. My dad needs to be there because he needs to solve the problems the workers have. My dad’s job is very interesting it’ about TVs, and about act. His job is very busy.
Today many things surprised me like: how to analyze ratings, how to change cartoons to commercials and how people need to practice until they get it correctly. TV business has many interesting things. When I went there it was so big that I got lost.
When I went to my dad’s office I felt like an adult because I got to work, analyze, and have fun. I think working should be like that. I also felt that I was helping my dad a lot because he got to be with me.
When I was in my dad’s office T saw many attitudes like: Appreciation, because they appreciate each other and they appreciated that they said their thoughts, they had confidence I each other, they cooperated because they told the news to each other.
School and work are different in some ways and the same in other ways like: we both work, we both need to do the things correct and we both need to be honest. We are different like: My dad gets to scold people and I don’t, he is the general manager and I’m only a student.
When I was working with my dad I felt that I could be something with TVs but I think my real job is to be a teacher because I like to teach, I like little kids, because my mom was a teacher, because every time I’m with little kids I feel that my mom is next to mom and because I have a lot of patience.
