May 27

Today when we got to class we were happy because we expected to have our items but Lisa forgot them (lost them) on the bag when lost we had everything. She went to look for them but they were already lost so we could not do anything. Lisa and Arianne both went to look for the materials but still they did not find them. Our solution for this problem was that we started making plans. We look forward to find the items or maybe we would have to buy them again.

Today when we got to class we were very happy because everyone brought materials! We got to the class and as soon as possible we started. We started out by pasting 2 cans together but then we realized that we really did not want that. So we got some foam and started doing it better and pasting other things. Then we folded some aluminum paper and it was perfect. Know we are choosing what fabric we want to use.

May 30

Today almost all of the class we pasted things to our car and we also came up with new ideas for it. I am happy because we already have the fabrics, we don't have them but we are already planning the colors and the design. One of them is hot pink and the either fabric is leopard. They are very cool.

June 2

Today Arianne is going to take the car to her house so that her mom measures it so that we know all the measures of the car. She is also going to tell her mom what fabric we want so that we can have them. She is just going to ask for pieces of fabric cause it is our work and we have to do it.

June 3

Today we did not work a lot because we did not have the wheels but we talked about the fabric and as I mentioned we already had it but it was in Ariannes house. Our goal for next class is to have our car done. Things did notÜ come the way we expected they would, today all the people in our group including me were not on task.

June 5

Today in the class we pasted all the fabric and started looking for ways to put the wheels in our car. With sand paper we shaved the Styrofoam to make the motor fit. We are almost finished with the wheel stuff.

FABRIC

-Pink

-Leopard

June 6

Today we pasted all the fabrics to our car we also cut them. Our car looks very nice and it also looks very modern. We used silicon gun to paste al the fabrics and foam, we had a special glue for the foam but it took a lot of time to dry. We have our wheels done and all we have to two is to paste them. Our car is fantastic.

June 9

Today we went outside and pasted all the wheels with a special scotch that Arianne brought, we also tested our car and it did not work the car was not working very well each time we tested it, it did not work. I noticed that the car did not work becausethe motor was not touching the gear.

June 10

Today we put all the wheels we were not sure in what position we wanted them to be. We stayed all the period, well almost all looking for ways to make our wheels fit. Today nobody was on task we were all talking and laughing.

June 12

Today we tested our car I was amazed to see it run. I am sooooooo happy!!. After all we are almost finished. I look forward that we test it more time and that it still works.

June 13

Today our car was finished! The back part looked awful so we added fabric and pasted it with the glue gun. It goes sooooooooooooo fast, we are so happy. We tested it and it works very well.

June 16

Today, our car worked! I was so exited to see our car run it was so cool. I was amazed. After all the work that we had done, it was time for it to work!. We did not have a lot of thngs to do so I just started to do my website.

Reflection:

Our car worked! We tried it 2 times without the string and the last time we used the string and it did work. The first time it went curvy but still fast, this time we did not use the string. We had to put a paper in the solar panel whenever we did not want it to work. The second time a leave stuck it but it still went fast. The last time.........IT WORKED. It was so straight until know it has been the only one that passes the goal. 13.859 seconds
