Because you are not working on your own computers, you might want to learn how to save your bookmarks and transfer them to your own machines.
If you want, you can DOWNLOAD YOUR BOOKMARK file to your server file and take it with you.
This is also handy if you use more than one computer -- say, you change computers as you will for this course or change jobs.
SAVING your bookmarks file:
CLICK ON Bookmark again
CLICK ON Edit BookmarksAnother window opens.
- To save your bookmark list to your server folder:
CLICK ON FILE in upper left of this bookmark window.
CLICK ON Save As
Find your folder in the server.
Name your file.
Click on OK.
- To retrieve your bookmarks at another Computer,
Return to the Edit Bookmarks window
CLICK ON FILE again.
CLICK ON Import.
Change to your folder in the server.
Click on your bookmark filename.
Click on OK.
Then, when you click on BOOKMARK, your list will be there.
